Ranking the WWE Legends figures Part 4

So I have covered the original run of Legends figures, I am not sure how many people are reading them so I could be wasting my time but for now, I will carry on. So after a long hiatus, the Legends series was brought back by Mattel, I was happy at the time as it was my favourite line but I knew I'd be hit in the pocket big time. Series 7 was announced and they were Razor Ramon in blue, Bobby 'The Brain' Heenan in a weasel suit, Greg 'The Hammer' Valentine and chase and a different version of Sting as 'The Crow' character. However, before the series hit retail, it was announced Sting was being pulled as his legends deal with WWE had expired, that was a shame because it looked very cool and I imagine one day we will get it when any deal he has with AEW finishes and he comes back under the WWE umbrella. The Sting we didn’t get Razor Ramon was a decent figure, the blue attire looked good, I have since swapped the head on mine with one of the spares from the Ulti

Here we are with the third part of the series ranking the Legends figures from WWE/Mattel, today it will be series 6 and the Matty Collector figures. As it turned out, this was the last series really of the original run but they went out with a bang, some real cracking figures in this set of 5. We had the Ultimate Warrior based on his look from Wrestle Mania VI when he won the WWF world title from Hulk Hogan, came with a winged eagle world title belt but it had a yellow strap, of course, the day of that match, he was IC champion and that belt had a yellow strap (it was many years afterwards until we got an IC title with a yellow strap) so the world title belt with this should've had a black strap really as Hogan's belt was with a black strap, nit picking really, but hey. We had the figure re released some years later in the 'Lost Legends' series but there was a slight difference, the orange tape/strapping on his wrist was in a different order to the one on the origina

Not sure if you all read the first part of this series, I guess if no one is interested I may as well just stop doing the blogs altogether. Anyway, incase there is anyone interested in what I have to say, here is part 2 of my blogs ranking all the WWE legends series figures. In part one I covered sets 1-3, today I will carry on with the Toys R Us exclusive 2-packs and the 4th/5 th  sets. So here we go, yes, TRU back in the day had the exclusive rights to sell the set of 4 tag teams that came under the WWE Legends series line. These teams were 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper & 'Cowboy' Bob Orton, The Bushwhackers, The Rockers and The Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff. This series saw the ONLY Marty Jannetty figure from Mattel, this alone makes it stand out. It also was until very recently, the only set of Bushwhackers elite figures, they came out with extra 'Doink' heads in the last Survivor Series set. We have had a good amount of Piper figures however, the face scan o

Ranking The WWE Legends Figures

Anyone who has followed me online for a while will know my favourite line since Mattel had the licence for WWE figures is the Legends line. I have them all (except Stacey Kiebler and the 2 Molly Holly ones), from the original run including two-packs, right up to the current series. So, I thought I would do a run of blogs ranking each figure in each set, I might do 3 sets per blog . Series 1 They came out firing with the first set, we had a figure, despite being an absolute legend, we never had from JAKKS Pacific who of course released figures from the WWF/E prior to Mattel and had many, many figures in their Classic Superstars line but not Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat but that was not the case when Mattel got the licence. We also got The Road Warriors, Hawk & Animal plus the 'American Dream' Dusty Rhodes complete with polka dots. We also got Sgt Slaughter with a look based on his AWA days but may have also donned that look in the WWF and the final one of the set was

Welcome back all, it's been a while, if it's your first time reading one of my blogs, welcome and I hope you return. I do these for free of course, I get nothing from them financially so all I ask is you share this post with other wrestling figure collectors, if you see it on X just a repost would be much appreciated, any facebook pages or forums you visit, please, share it there (if I haven't already of course), once again, that would be appreciated . ****ADVERTISE RIGHT HERE**** So, I have not wrote a blog since SDCC, we did see a lot of great stuff on show there, was a bit gutted we didn't see a completed Great Muta figure but I understand that one is down the line and there are other figures to come beforehand. I am not aware of any other events like WM weekend or SDCC they have a big showcase of new and upcoming releases so I don't know how the completed Muta figure will be shown maybe the Mattel guys such as Steve Ozer and Bill Miekina will share it on social
