First blog in a while guys, I hope you are all keeping well. I know lockdown restrictions are slowly being lifted but please stay safe, don't be one of those people not wearing face coverings in shops, on public transport or wherever you're supposed to. OK, so I wasn't sure what to cover so I am going to just talk about a few things.  Most of you know, the Mattel Elites are my thing, that is the line I focus on more, especially lately I try and get hold of harder to find figures and now we have a more figure lines coming out, of course there is AEW, Super 7 and Boss Fight, I mention those as they are more to scale with the Mattel ones but there are other ones coming out that match up with the old Hasbros and the Mattel Retro figures. So, you know what this is, let's have a look at the reveals from WWE/Mattel yesterday over at the WWE's website. There were loads of images shown and you know me, I am into the Elites and Ultimate Editions but there just won't be enough space to show them all here so I will add the best bits, best that are in my opinion of course. They had some WWE/Masters of the Universe figures to show first, not a line I am remotely interested in. Before I was into wrestling, in fact, way before, I was into wrestling I collected MOTU figures as a kid, recall pestering my mom to get me Trap Jaw. Any readers collect these crossover figures? With the upcoming Broken Skull Sessions interview between Steve Austin & Chris Jericho airing on the WWE Network/Peacock, it got me thinking, what are the best figures of each guy?  I was listening to the Pyramid Wrestling podcast before writing this and they were talking about the upcoming interview and that gave me the idea to write this piece and then the guys had their own discussion of both guys and their thoughts/memories on figures as it is a wrestling figure podcast, a very good one indeed so give them a listen, find them in the usual podcast places. I am more concerned with their Mattel figures, but both had a number of JAKKS ones too and Jericho had maybe at least a couple before that while in WCW, yes, I had the infamous 'Lion Tamer' one which you can see pictured above.  Let's go with Austin first, there's not too much you can do with Austin figures because he just wears the black trunks and boots but still, he's had a few variations, like the Mattel

In recent times, Mattel has released various Elite two-packs and it looks, for now at least, it could be something they continue with so in this blog I'll take a look at what we have had so far. First, I will quickly go over what two-packs they have released in the past, drop me a line if I have missed any off. In 2011 there were the All-Stars packs, these were like fantasy match-ups, there was CM Punk & Stone Cold Steve Austin, I am currently looking for the Austin, so, well, get in touch if you have one for sale.
