MY Rankings of the Monday Night Wars Ultimate Editions

saw a post on Instagram mentioning all the Monday Night Wars Elites we have had, and I thought it would be good to do a blog with me listing them, I don't usually like doing ranking lists unless i personally have the figure myself and as it stands, of all the ones in this series that have been released I still don't have the Lex Luger (hopefully should have him Tuesday as of writing this) but i think I have seen enough images to  be able to add him in this list as of now.

In the comments on that post someone suggested including the Outsiders, I can see the logic as of course, they were a big, no huge, part of the Monday Night Wars but the figures weren't actually released in that series, so I don't think I'll include them. Of course, if I did there are others I could then include like a couple of Rock's figures, Eric Bischoff or my favourite UE of all, the re-released nWo Hollywood Hogan and maybe there are others too so I will just stick with the six that have come out in the line.

6. Mankind - It's an okay figure, the soft goods are not terrible, like on the Triple H in the Elite Evolution 3 pack but someone has to be at number 6 and Mrs Foley's little boy gets the nod in my list.

5. Triple H - I am a fan of this figure, especially one of the head scans, in saying that, one of them is very bad.

4. Lex Luger - Again, I haven't had this figure in hand as of writing this, but it looks the part, comes with different head scans and swappable hair pieces. Comes with two versions of the big gold belt, one with nWo on it as the figure is based on the night he won the title from Hogan and it even comes with a little towel accessorie as on the night he used one to wipe off the spray paint and that's why they have the second belt without the spray paint on. I imagine I'll put the nWo one on my Hollywood Hogan because I am hoping it's the new version of the big gold like what came with the Legends 'Ravishing' Rick Rude.

3. Eddie Guerreo
- This figure, tried to get one for ages and when I finally did, I noticed it had some paint missing from the front of the tights, so I was trying to get a replacement from the supplier, but this was proving difficult So in the end I bought a loose one on the secondary market and did a trade back to the supplier of the Luger that is incoming.

2. Bret 'Hitman' Hart
- One of the first two released in this series we have this Bret Hart based on his 1997 look from his time in the WWF when he had reformed the Hart Foundation as a faction, not just Jim Neidhart as it was in the 80's/early 90's but his brother Owen, brother-in-law, The British Bulldog and good friend Brian Pillman. We hadn't seen this version of Hart since the early days of Mattel doing the WWE figures as it came out in the Defining Moments range. This UE is very good, like many Bret Hart figures, the head scans leave a lot to be desired but overall, a very good figure. Has the moulded leather jacket but as the arms can be removed and other ones supplied can be added you can display him as he's coming to the ring or in his gear when he's in action.

1. ‘Rowdy' Roddy Piper
- Well, what can I say about this figure, it is outstanding, that I can tell you, as a figure in wrestling attire is pretty plain but with the jacket, like Bret's, a moulded one with removeable arms, it just looks brilliant, honest, I can't say enough good things about this figure, I understand it may not come cheap but any serious collector should have this figure in their collection.

So, we have it guys, it's my list, of course, it can't be wrong as it's MY list, feel free to hit me up on X/Instagram/Facebook (links below) with your list in the order you think they should be.

Thanks for reading, here is a link to all my links https://linktr.ee/WrestleFigsUK all the best, Stu
