My Top 10 WWE Mattel Legends Series List


Hi all, welcome back, it's been a while. For those who have been following me for a while, you will know the Legends line is my favourite line. By the time I started to collect Mattel figures, the Legends series has ended. Some time back I did a blog or two talking about the Legends line, if you use the search function you may be able to find them. So, as we know, after the original run of Legends figures came to an end and the Matty Collector ones had been released as online exclusives there was quite a number of years before Mattel brought the life back to life. The first series upon their return was series 7, this is the image you can see above, but, Sting’s deal with the WWE expired and this was not released, time will tell if it will be in the future.

Not all Legends figures have been hits, some have been questionable and, although outfits have changed, we have had the same characters appear more than once and Mattel release a chase figure of one in each line too.

I will now list my Top 10 Legends figures, as you will know, I only include figures in my Top 10 or 5 lists that I actually own myself and where the Legends figures are concerned I pretty much have them all that have been released so far, the only ones I don't have are female figures, I just have one in my collection, Chyna as I wanted to complete the DX army but I don't have any of the other female figures released in the Legends line which I believe are Stacey Kiebler and Molly Holly, with Chase, so just the 3.

The March 6th RSC Reveals

So, we were given the heads up there was going to be an announcement from Ringside Collectibles on 6/3, rumours/guesses were being thrown around on social media, we knew RSC were getting an Outsiders Ultimate Edition pack exclusive to them so initially I thought it had to be full images and pre order info for them. After talking to others, it was mentioned maybe it could be the next set of Defining Moments figures, either way, I thought it was one of these two sets. Come time for the reveal and, well, I was a bit letdown. What we got was a reveal of  more re-releases, yes, they may have updated articulation, pinless arms etc and some updated face scan technology but in essence, they are the same figures we have had before. International collectors to lose out?

There is still time, it may change but very shortly the Mattel Creations 'Coliseum Collections' Hart Foundation is due to go up for sale on the MC website, however, anyone outside the US, definitely here in the UK anyway, will not be able to order it. We haven't had an issue in the past but this was spotted by someone a few weeks ago and as of typing this, the statement which you can see below is still on their website. We all like to moan but I think international customers do get the short end of the stick. There's plenty of store exclusives that are stores that are only in the US so, if we want them have to pay over the odds to independent sellers as they have to get them imported in.  People buy from the likes of Ringside Collectibles directly and pay a premium on the shipping charges to do so when Mattel creations brought out their exclusives it was great that we could order direct from them for a shipping cost that was quite reasonable but now, well, we, as it sta...

Target (Argos in the UK) NXT Exclusives

Welcome all, I hope you're all well. The grind continues, today I’ll be taking a look at the NXT series of figures that were exclusive to Target in the US but in the UK surprisngly they were available in Argos, it's a shame they didn't do that with other US exclusives because if they had of, we'd have saved a pretty penny over the years. So, the first series consisted of 4 figures, I own 2 of the 4, still want No Way Jose, passed on him so many times but wish I hadn't. The other one I don't have is Bayley and I guess, unless this is the first time you have read one of my blogs, you'll know I don't collect female figures (money and space to display them is the reason).  Now onto the ones I do have, first there was a Seth Rollins (Left) as a big fan of the indies I was a fan of Rollins under his former guise of Tyler Black but never really saw him in NXT, yes, I don't watch the WWE product, haven't since 2002 really, caught the odd bit here and the...
