Top 5, 6, Kurt Angle Elite Figures


This was going to be a top 5 as I thought there were just 5 Elite figures from Mattel but it turns out there was 6 so I am just going to do a top 6.

As Angle was out of the WWE for a while he didn't have action figures from them/Mattel until relatively late on so this is why there is only 6 Elite style figures of him, he has a bunch of basics too but as you know, I do these lists on Elites and Ultimates.

So, there have been some decent Kurt Angle Elite figures and you'll see them list but number 6 in the list, well...........

06 Kurt Angle (Ringside Collectibles Exclusive)

I have every RSC exclusive Mattel figure released so far and I think, without a shadow of a doubt, the Kurt Angle one in Shield attire must be the worst, it is horrendous so no so surprising, it's last in this list 


05 Kurt Angle (Elite 66)

This one as you can see, well to me anyway, seems to have a Captain America inspired outfit. Good figure, may quite possibly be higher up in other people's lists but just comes in at number 5 in mine


04 Kurt Angle (Milk-O-Mania set)

This one could've been at number 5 to be honest as I don't like the head scan but it has enough other things going for it, none wrestling gear, soft goods shirt. Would like to swap the head on it but need to find the one I want.

 

03 Kurt Angle (Elite Series 59)

Another good figure this one, probably number 1 in a few peoples lists but the 2 I have above it I like better. Nice cloth jacket, would be great to get the Haas & Benjamin that worked with him as 'Team Angle' but not sure we will.


 02 Kurt Angle (Network Spotlight)

REALLY like this one and on a different day could be the number 1 figure but it just misses out right now. Wasn't easy to get but I knew I had to, such a good figure.

 

 

01 Kurt Angle (Entrance Great)

This figure had to be number 1 in the list, it's pretty much based on his look from his debut. I think with the hair he had his better matches too, I stopped watching WWE in 2002 really so I guess I missed tons of matches of him without the hair but you guys will have to let me know.

The March 6th RSC Reveals

So, we were given the heads up there was going to be an announcement from Ringside Collectibles on 6/3, rumours/guesses were being thrown around on social media, we knew RSC were getting an Outsiders Ultimate Edition pack exclusive to them so initially I thought it had to be full images and pre order info for them. After talking to others, it was mentioned maybe it could be the next set of Defining Moments figures, either way, I thought it was one of these two sets. Come time for the reveal and, well, I was a bit letdown. What we got was a reveal of  more re-releases, yes, they may have updated articulation, pinless arms etc and some updated face scan technology but in essence, they are the same figures we have had before. International collectors to lose out?

There is still time, it may change but very shortly the Mattel Creations 'Coliseum Collections' Hart Foundation is due to go up for sale on the MC website, however, anyone outside the US, definitely here in the UK anyway, will not be able to order it. We haven't had an issue in the past but this was spotted by someone a few weeks ago and as of typing this, the statement which you can see below is still on their website. We all like to moan but I think international customers do get the short end of the stick. There's plenty of store exclusives that are stores that are only in the US so, if we want them have to pay over the odds to independent sellers as they have to get them imported in.  People buy from the likes of Ringside Collectibles directly and pay a premium on the shipping charges to do so when Mattel creations brought out their exclusives it was great that we could order direct from them for a shipping cost that was quite reasonable but now, well, we, as it sta...

Target (Argos in the UK) NXT Exclusives

Welcome all, I hope you're all well. The grind continues, today I’ll be taking a look at the NXT series of figures that were exclusive to Target in the US but in the UK surprisngly they were available in Argos, it's a shame they didn't do that with other US exclusives because if they had of, we'd have saved a pretty penny over the years. So, the first series consisted of 4 figures, I own 2 of the 4, still want No Way Jose, passed on him so many times but wish I hadn't.
