Recently Revealed Wrestle Mania Elites


Hello all, put out some tweets this morning but thought I'd blog about it too.

I've seen more images of the WM Elites and boy, they are fire! Of course, this is a BAF set too and a lot of the BAF sets have figures in people don't really want but usually have a BAF they do so people buy a set for the BAF parts and then try and move on the figures themselves and I don't think that goes too well for many. 

The current set that is out with a BAF, the Survivor Series ones is a prime example, for me, there's only one figure in that set I want and have wanted for years tbh, and that is the Ultimate Warrior from Survivor Series 1990. I saw some tweets of people saying the attire didn't look the same as it did in the match but they were looking at the attire he wore in the grand match of survival but the figure has the attire of the first match he was involved in that night. 


I am going off on a bit of a tangent, again but, I really can't buy into the fact that the Amazon Fan Takeover figures were devised from genuine votes, take the last Warrior one, the Survivor Series 90 one was an option to vote for but the one that won was the look he had at WM VI, now, we have had that attire twice, both were slightly inaccurate however, we have had it twice and I know what some people are saying to themselves as they are reading this, it'll be well, we were not able to get any of those previous WM VI ones or yes we have had them in Elite form but I wanted it in Ultimate form. I get that I do, but I just found it puzzling that the Survivor Series 90 one wouldn't have got the vote, a UE version of that would've been outstanding, also, something seems off with the UE WM VI one, I am sure those who have it will understand what I mean.


Anyway, back to the WM Elites, we are getting Hollywood Hogan based on WM X8 where he faced The Rock and in the series coming out, we also have that figure too. Also in the set is another match up, this time from WM VI and it's 'Macho King' Randy Savage and the 'American Dream' Dusty Rhodes.


Lets break them down, now this is all based on images, may think different when I have them in hand, I think the scan on Dusty may be a bit off, same with the image I saw of The Rock, Savage often has a mix of scans, as he always comes with glasses so that helps if the scan is off. Hogan, well, comes with glasses too, and really like my Hogan figures so looking forward to this one.

So, we were given the heads up there was going to be an announcement from Ringside Collectibles on 6/3, rumours/guesses were being thrown around on social media, we knew RSC were getting an Outsiders Ultimate Edition pack exclusive to them so initially I thought it had to be full images and pre order info for them. International collectors to lose out?

There is still time, it may change but very shortly the Mattel Creations 'Coliseum Collections' Hart Foundation is due to go up for sale on the MC website, however, anyone outside the US, definitely here in the UK anyway, will not be able to order it. We haven't had an issue in the past but this was spotted by someone a few weeks ago and as of typing this, the statement which you can see below is still on their website. We all like to moan but I think international customers do get the short end of the stick. There's plenty of store exclusives that are stores that are only in the US so, if we want them have to pay over the odds to independent sellers as they have to get them imported in.  People buy from the likes of Ringside Collectibles directly and pay a premium on the shipping charges to do so when Mattel creations brought out their exclusives it was great that we could order direct from them for a shipping cost that was quite reasonable but now, well, we, as it sta...

Target (Argos in the UK) NXT Exclusives

Welcome all, I hope you're all well. The grind continues, today I’ll be taking a look at the NXT series of figures that were exclusive to Target in the US but in the UK surprisngly they were available in Argos, it's a shame they didn't do that with other US exclusives because if they had of, we'd have saved a pretty penny over the years. So, the first series consisted of 4 figures, I own 2 of the 4, still want No Way Jose, passed on him so many times but wish I hadn't.
