Leaked Lists of Upcoming Legends Series Figures
There have been 4 series of Legends leaked, series 12 will apparently see Billy Gunn his DX Army gear of course based on the DX invasion of the Norfolk Scope back in the Monday Night Wars time. As you can see, there is an image, some think it’s not actually real, I’m 50/50 to be honest but I’ll let you be the judge for yourself. We have had two Elite Billy Gunn’s in the past, I have the first from the core Elite line but don’t have the second from the Hall of Champions line.
Also rumoured to be in series 12 are Junkyard Dog, we’ve had one previous JYD Elite in a n early Elite line, good figure in white trunks that comes with a chain, I hope and think it very well may be in red trunks when this Legends one is revealed.
Also, there will be a Kevin Nash in this line, I’m a big fan of Nash/Diesel figures I have all Elites of his except the Nitro Notables one which was him in street clothes, well, an nWo tee and jeans.
Rounding up series 12 of the Legends is ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper. Elite wise I think there have been 3, one in the original Legends line that came with ‘Cowboy’ Bob Orton which were exclusive to Toys R Us, there was a Hall of Fame one that I don’t have and the last one one was a unique one, it was based on his boxing match from Wrestle Mania II with Mr T which is also included in the pack.
No idea which figure will feature the chase, if I were to guess, I’d say Nash, as I think one will be based on his nWo run in the WWE in 2002, as we recently had X-Pac from that era and previously had Scott Hall that came out in a Wrestle Mania series.
As I think Legends 13 is rumoured to feature Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts which will also be the chase. It’s weird really, not only has Jake featured in the original Legends line (great figure by the way) but he has also featured in the Legends line since it’s rebirth (which began with series 7) and he was the chase then too. I have the regular one but was never able to get the chase. He also has a great figure in the Hall of Fame line too.
Also rumoured are is a Triple H, again, like Billy Gunn in series 12, based on the DX Army invasion from the Monday Night Wars days. There was a Triple H released in the core Elite line sort of based on that invasion, came with the helmet and megaphone type thing, I have posted a picture here so you can see that one.
And the final one rumoured is ‘Cowboy’ Bob Orton, who as I mentioned earlier, did have a figure previously in the early Legends line with Piper. Not one I’d be knocking the doors down to get but one I will try and get like all the Legends.
Onto the rumoured line-up for series 14. We are set to get an Edge figure and he will be the chase too. Again, another guy who very recently had a release and chase in the regular Elite line but that was based on his more recent run, I’m guessing the Legends one could be from the mid 2000’s or from his Edge & Christian tag team days when they were ripping it up with The Hardyz and The Dudleyz or, Christian had a release in the Brood gear and maybe there will be an Edge to match in this Legends series, let’s wait and see.
An exciting one for me and I guess many others will be ‘Mean’ Mark Callous, for those who don’t know, Callous was the name The Undertaker worked under in WCW prior to going to the WWF in 1990. I guess this will be very sought after, much like the Vader that came out in series 10.

And to match the Gunn & Triple H from series 12/13, rounding off this series will be Road Dogg & Chyna from that invasion of WCW. Like Gunn, there have been 2 Elite Road Dogg’s previously and Chyna, since going in the Hall of Fame has had one release that came in a pack with Triple H. As I don’t collect female figures I sold my Chyna, however, if I can get this one, I may have to keep it.
And the final Legends series rumoured, series 15 will feature Andre The Giant, who will be the chase, Bradshaw & Farooq, here’s hoping they will be in their Acolytes gear, as there previously were Elite releases of them as the APA and last but not least, we have X-Pac based on the DX Army and that WCW invasion. We have had a number of 123 Kid/X-Pac figures, the most recent in the Fan Takeover series based on his nWo run in the WWE of 2002/3 and I am a big fan of that figure.
So, that’s it, a lot of rumoured line ups for the future Legends series, let’s wait and see what is revealed by Mattel themselves.
But wait, there’s more, rumoured to be coming out in the Ultimate Edition line is Hulk Hogan as Mr America, very much looking forward to that one if true. His nWo Ultimate Edition is outstanding.
On the subject of Ultimate Editions, there has been a leaked image of the upcoming John Cena (pictured) one which you can see here. I must say, I liked the first one but not sold on this, but I’ll prob pick it up so I have all the UE male figures.
Also, there are supposed to be a couple of Elite multipacks, now is that 2 figures or 3, who knows. Something tells me, looking on social media recently, there might be a pack of the Three Faces of Foley, don’t quote me on that, it’s just a feeling.
Also, I did stumble across some images of the upcoming Ultimate Editions of Kane & The Undertaker, again (pictured here), there’s a lot of discussion on wether these are genuine or not, not sure to be honest, let me know what you think.
