Hi all, back again with another blog and another list, the top, in my opinion, 15 Elite style figures of the year that is 2023. I only include figures I actually own in these lists so lets get going. So, I had to have a think about this and I don't mean the choices but which figures to consider. So, you have the regular Elite line plus the PPV series, so they will feature, also, we saw the Defining Moments figures return this year but where I was torn was whether to include the figures from the Legends series, we have had 4 sets this year, probably 20 figures or so, but I think I will leave them for a separate blog. Just before we start, I don't collect full Elite waves, I literally only pick a few of them, sometimes only a single one. 15. Stardust (Elite 103) - I have never owned any of the previous Stardust figures and at first, I wasn't going to get this one but I opted for it in the end. Good figure, I think I may have heard the other day that it isn't a new head s...

Hi all, back again, I am like buses, you wait ages for one then you get two close to each other. So, the other day I put out a blog talking about the Ultimate Editions in 2024, more specifically, the top 3 I am looking forward too, check that one out HERE Today, after we have had more reveals from the WWE Elite Squad of figures coming up soon. We didn't really see anything we haven't seen before on the video, you can watch it HERE if you haven't yet. Sam Roberts was joined by Johnny Gargano (who once complemented me on having a nice shirt, OK, it was one of his back in 2012/13) and the 'Total Package' Lex Luger. The video began with the trio talking about  the upcoming Monday Night  Wars Wave 1 set, this will be a set that features 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin which it looks like it's based on his Defining Moments figure from back in the day. Below you can see both the new one and that one side by side.  Left: Monday Night Wars - Right: Defining Moments ...

Hi all, welcome back, it's been a while. For those who have been following me for a while, you will know the Legends line is my favourite line. By the time I started to collect Mattel figures, the Legends series has ended. Some time back I did a blog or two talking about the Legends line, if you use the search function you may be able to find them. So, as we know, after the original run of Legends figures came to an end and the Matty Collector ones had been released as online exclusives there was quite a number of years before Mattel brought the life back to life. The first series upon their return was series 7, this is the image you can see above, but, Sting’s deal with the WWE expired and this was not released, time will tell if it will be in the future. Not all Legends figures have been hits, some have been questionable and, although outfits have changed, we have had the same characters appear more than once and Mattel release a chase figure of one in each line too. I will now l...

Hello all, we are on the eve of the 2023 SDCC where we expect to see plenty of reveals of new WWE figures that will be released by Mattel in the future months. We have had a leak of sorts already as there has been a reveal of another Amazon exclusive 2-pack that will arrive around February time. It has been a long time coming from Mattel as it's a set based on the first ever PPV ladder match which took place at Wrestle Mania X in 1994. We have had a set like this in the past from JAKKS but this will be the first time since Mattel took the WWE licence to produce action figures. We have had the Michaels previously, albeit slightly different as far as the sunglasses go and this one with have the updated pinless elbows. I have that one in my collection but I am guessing there maybe a few that do not so this will be a great chance to pick this figure up. For me though, after all the Razor Ramon's we've had, to finally get this one, is great. However, when you look at it, and it...

It has been rumoured for a few weeks and some images actually leaked online but today, Mattel Creations confirmed that in fact the SDCC exclusive would be Ali based on his look when he was the ringside enforcer/referee at Wrestle Mania I and also in the package there is an Ali in his boxing gear. It will be available to pick up in person at SDCC which starts on July 20th for a few days, I think us that won't be in attendance can order them from Mattel Creations on July 21st. I am not blown away but of course will order them because they are Ultimate Edition figures, if for whatever reason they'd have been Elites I'd have waited to see if I could pick them up down the line. Elsewhere, many have received their Mattel Creations Cody Rhodes Ultimate Edition, including myself, there are some that still haven't and there are some that ordered that and the Logan Paul Ultimate Edition and received the latter and not the former. myself, as stated, I have my Cody Rhodes but not m...
