After writing the last blog where I said I would be selling up I have still not made a move to do so, I know it needs to happen but I am STILL buying new stuff, serious issues here guys. So, no one off topic to write about today I just thought I'd write about a few things in the wrestling figure world at the moment. First off, people on both sides of the pond are receiving their New Generation rings from Mattel Creations. I am yet to receive mine but I believe it is in the country and I am waiting for a letter off Royal Mail to pay my customs charge. This charge is ridiculous, I am reading the charge for those here in the UK is about £63 and with this on top of what has already been paid over a year ago makes it very expensive. Some people are saying it's understandable as the value of the item is so high, this maybe true but doesn't help the bank account does it?  I have no space to set up rings and I knew this when I purchased it but, I did want the figures that come with...

I have written previously about the Ultimate Edition figures; you can find that piece HERE but with new ones being released since I wrote that and images of future ones hitting the interwebs, I thought I'd do another piece. The Ultimate Edition line is a great line from Mattel, many had reservations due to the higher price point and figure wise the change in the bodies from the Elite look however, overall, the figures are amazing and there are still people trying to get hold of the older ones. As a prominent Youtuber said, people are collecting a loose and MOC figure of each released thinking they may go the way of the Defining Moment line which even though some have been in clearance sections in their times, are very sought after. Of course, I like doing Top 5 lists, mainly of one particular wrestler in Elite form plus Ultimate Edition form if said wrestler has had one. The last 2 lists I compiled (Ric Flair/Ultimate Warrior) both featured their UE figures. The Ultimate Edition fi...

In recent times, Mattel has released various Elite two-packs and it looks, for now at least, it could be something they continue with so in this blog I'll take a look at what we have had so far. First, I will quickly go over what two-packs they have released in the past, drop me a line if I have missed any off. In 2011 there were the All-Stars packs, these were like fantasy match-ups, there was CM Punk & Stone Cold Steve Austin, I am currently looking for the Austin, so, well, get in touch if you have one for sale. Also, there was Randy Orton & Jake The Snake Roberts and the final one was John Morrison vs Randy Savage, Savage is the only one of these 6 figures I have, you'll know if you have it or ever stumble across it as it has green trunks with white stars. In 2016, there was a Nation of Domination pack with Faarooq & The Rock. Nice set, Rock comes with the oval IC title. And in 2019 Ringside Collectibles had an exclusive to their site and it was The Hardy Boyz b...

Hi all, seems like a long while since I wrote something on the blog when in fact it's only been a few days. Anyway, today I want to write about the Entrance Greats, the first run was before I was collecting Mattel figures, so they had been and gone before I started to collect and to be honest, despite most of them looking great, the fact they were basic figures takes the shine off a little and they are not figures I have tried to track down. So, they were released in series, the first featuring Triple H, Rey Mysterio & Shawn Michaels. Triple H was based on his look from Wrestle Mania 22 where he faced John Cena, Triple H in this one, as you can see by the image had somewhat of a Conan The Barbarian look. It looks pretty decent and like many in the original run of Entrance Greats, would've been great as an Elite, I am sure, like with many in the line, people have taken the entrance gear and added it to a future Elite figure. Next up was Rey Mysterio, also based on his look f...

Welcome back all, I've been ill this week so that's why there's been a bit of a delay on the blog front but today I am back with a look at a series of figures I am very much into, a line I have yet to complete but not far off, yes, today, I'll look at the Ringside Collectables exclusive figures. So back in 2010, Mattel started to release figures of WWE wrestlers and Legends. And Ringside Collectables (RSC) have worked with WWE for years and this led to them being able to get certain figures that you could only purchase (initially at least) through their website. For the MOC collectors these figures stood out more as they have that little sticker on the box that stated they were exclusive to RSC. I as a loose collector of course am not too worried about this but many, not all, of the figures in the RSC exclusive line are great. So, let's get cracking. The first one released was a Ringside Fest exclusive first, Rey Mysterio which is billed as Rey Mysterio Flash as the...

A Mattel line that didn't have many figures, just the 4 in fact, were the Best of Attitude Era . I think this line had more legs in it, it was an Amazon exclusive line and 3 out of the 4 figures were in casual clothes and just one in wrestling gear. I have them all and a big fan of 3 of them, 1 of the others, not so much, so let's talk about them. The first one released was Chris Jericho, he was the only one out the 4 that came in wrestling attire and it is a really good figure, not many better Jericho Elite figures out there to be honest. As you can see by the image, comes with a great RAW is Jericho t shirt, microphone and tremendous head/hair sculpt. I think this hasn't been released on any other Elite figure, please let me know if it has. I know it came out, well a similar one at least, in the original Entrance Greats and basic lines. And I have to talk about the tights, gave me ECW vibes with the barbed wire detail. A real good figure and if possible, get it in your co...
